Drop in Kinstugi Workshop, Heals's, Tottenham Court Road, 6-9

To celebrate LDF I am running a Japanese Kintsugi ceramic repait workshop at Heal's flagship store Tottenham Court Road. The ancient art of Kintsugi, is the glam rock of ceramic repairs. This elegant method of repair was developed by the Japanese who believe a ceramic piece, once repaired is more beautiful than the formerly undamaged piece.

I run workshops for many different kinds of clients. I host creative design and craft based adventures that range from team building to education and communications workshops for groups, through to corporate entertainment for people who want to offer their team or clients something bespoke and different.

For the general style, think a making project demonstration showing technique as well as examples, followed by a session of making, all inspired and helped by an experienced designer. The great thing about creating and making is that it is seriously sociable, it gets people talking and exchanging ideas while having a good time.

I offer a wide range of bespoke events, anything from 2 hours to half or even full days and evenings. I work with intimate groups and am happy to work with bigger numbers for large scale events. My events are mobile so can be brought to your office or venue.

I’ve produced events for major cultural institutions including The Fashion and Textile Museum and leading life style brands such as Country Living Magazine, Laura Ashley and Heals as well as major corporations.
